Tokani, the Friends of the Fiji Museum is a community dedicated to supporting the Fiji Museum celebrate Fiji's heritage, culture and traditions. The Friends of the Fiji Museum Society was formed in 1986 and over the years has included leaders from the business, government, education, non-governmental and diplomatic communities as well as locals,residents and visitors to Fiji. 

Our Mission

Tokani is a growing community of people dedicated to working in partnership with the museum to preserve its collection, provide education, undertake research and present exhibitions that celebrate Fiji's heritage, culture and traditions.

Tokani, the Friends of the Fiji Museum is a community dedicated to supporting the Fiji Museum celebrate Fiji's heritage, culture and traditions.

The Friends of the Fiji Museum Society was formed in 1986 and over the years has included leaders from the business, government, education, non-governmental and diplomatic communities as well as locals,residents and visitors to Fiji.

In 2017 it was re-named Tokani: Friends of the Fiji Museum.  We are now working to ensure every Fijian and supporter of this work can access and support the work of Fiji's Museum and moving our membership options online.
